About
Join us for an evening of festive food, panto fun and Christmas sparkle as we switch on the lights at Shelter Hall!
This year, we’re partnering with Brighton Food Bank to raise money for individuals and families in crisis across the city. Bring the whole family, settle in from 6pm, and help us celebrate while supporting a brilliant local cause.
A little panto magic
We’ll be joined by cast members from Brighton Family Panto’s Aladdin for festive entertainment ahead of the big countdown. For more magic, mischief and family fun, catch the full production this Christmas, featuring international drag superstar Courtney Act as the Genie. Find out more at brightonfamilypanto.com.
Win something wonderful
Pick up your raffle tickets from 6pm for the chance to win some fantastic prizes, with funds raised supporting Brighton Food Bank. Prizes include: Two tickets to The Gift, the Christmas show at The Old Market, tickets to Brighton Family Panto’s Aladdin, Shelter Hall vouchers, tickets to the beer festival at the Amex Stadium, Brighton i360 pod rides.
Make an evening of it
Come hungry! All our kitchens will be serving, including newcomers Village Pizza Kitchen, Sussex wagyu burgers from 3Bros Burgers, Portuguese grill from Churrasco, authentic Mexican food from Saltio, fried chicken from Brighton favourites Lost Boys, and hand rolled sushi from Temaki Bros.
You’ll also find festive food and drink specials, including The Christmas Pizza and our apple crumble cocktail.
Then, at 7pm, gather for the countdown as we press our big gold button and light up Shelter Hall for Christmas!
Seating, raffle ticket sales and panto entertainment from 6pm. Lights switch-on at 7pm.
