About
*“His voice is the shining star throughout”* - **Far Out Magazine** 4.5/5
British-Ugandan singer-songwriter Daudi Matsiko crafts a poignant breed of modern, confessional folk. His sound couples delicate, Nick Drake-esque acoustic picking with subtle, electronic textures and striking vocal vulnerability, where the space between his lyrics resonate to the core. Pins will be heard dropping.
Expanding his sonic reach beyond his stripped-back sound, Matsiko has toured alongside and collaborated with visionary jazz and electronic acts like **GoGo Penguin**, **Portico Quartet**, and **Werkha**.
**For fans of:** Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens, José González, Sampha, Michael Kiwanuka, Keaton Henson, Bon Iver
