We’re excited to invite you to Down 2 Play, our new in-person games event intended to bring people across Sussex and beyond together through the power of video games.
Hosted by Sussex Games, the event will take place across a whole day and looks to celebrate games of all kinds, from some of the most talented developers around. Bringing together indie developers, games industry professionals, students and creatives for a day of games, talks, networking and community.
Sussex has so much game development and video games ecosystem taking place here, some people's favourite games are developed here like PowerWash Simulator, Mafia Series and LEGO Horizon Adventures to name a few!
Yet, the attention goes elsewhere or not shown enough at other events - we believe that should change and Down 2 Play aims to put Sussex on the map for video games.
Whether a family looking for a day out, a career seeker looking to get into video games, or an avid gamer - there be something for everyone!
