About
Designed for beginners, this workshop introduces four key techniques to create accurate and expressive drawn likenesses.
Through step-by-step exercises using pencils and charcoal, you'll work from still life arrangements to sharpen your observational skills. You'll explore measurement, structure, shapes and spaces - foundational methods that will give you greater control over your creative process and set you on the path to drawing with confidence.
The workshop includes an exclusive tour of the modernist home and studio at Charleston, providing a glimpse into its rich artistic history, along with all the materials you'll need to bring your creations to life. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a delicious lunch made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
