**Ignoring Izzy**
Picture this: you’re in a supermarket. It’s silent. 6 kooks in dark mesh materialise from out of nowhere, armed with fringes, instruments, and a bag full of vegetables. The music starts it’s brash and chaotic. A leek flies past your face. You think nothing of it. A radish follows. It’s raining vegetables. But the singer has this witchy quality which sucks you in. You can’t leave, but you don’t want to.

Brighton regulars FIRE ESCAPE are creating a sound beyond art-rock. Blending synth, guitars, and woodwind, the 4 piece craft a gritty soundscape that thrashes about their desperate vocals. Lyrics teeter between bluntness and absurdity, and their live shows are uniquely frantic, delivered with a crazed persona from vocalists Tyler and Alex. Their latest single MEATHOOK METADATA METADATA is out now.
