June's Little Seedlings workshop explores the busy world of pollinators.

LITTLE SEEDLINGS CLUB JUNE WORKSHOP - GARDEN HELPERS: THE BUSY WORLD OF POLLINATORS | SUNDAY 7 JUNE

June’s Little Seedlings workshop is all about pollinators and the important role they play in our gardens. Children will discover how plants grow and reproduce, learning how pollen moves between flowers and helps create seeds, fruits, and new plants. They’ll explore a range of common UK pollinators, and find out how different insects are attracted to different types of flowers. The workshop also connects pollination to everyday life, showing how many of the foods we eat rely on these garden visitors. Children will also learn simple ways to make their gardens more pollinator-friendly. The session includes interactive discussions and a hands-on planting activity, where children create their own pollinator-friendly pot to take home.

This workshop will cover:

* How plants spread and grow
* Why do flowers need help?
* How pollen moves between flowers
* Meet the garden helpers
* Plants pollinators love
* How pollinators help grow our food
* Why pollinators are important
* Workshop activity – planting a pollinator pot

Please note:

* Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
* The club runs on the first Sunday of every month. Times vary per store. Please click on your perferred store below for available options.
* Where stores are running multiple sessions it is the same workshop delivered at each one.
* Parents or guardians wishing to order hot drinks for the session in advance can do so during the booking process.
* Dates and times for our Little Seedlings Clubs vary by store and not all stores are able to participate.
* Advance booking is required with spaces booked quickly – please book early to avoid disappointment.
