About
What happens when we stop trying to control the garden and start listening to it?
In this conversation, writer and re-naturer James Canton and grower, forager and environmentalist Poppy Okotcha share their insights on a more intuitive approach to gardening.
Drawing from their respective books 'Renaturing' and 'A Wilder Way', they reflect on what it means to tend a space not just for beauty or yield, but for life. From a rewilded field in Essex, to a small, abundant garden in Devon, both bring stories of transformation. They will share tips on how to garden in harmony with nature – whether you're working with a window box or a back garden – and offer inspiration for seeing gardening not just as a task, but as a relationship.
This event will be chaired by Claire Ratinon.
