About
Join Wild Purpose & Wandering Emotions for a mindfulness and connection activity walk in Devils Dyke.
Wild Purpose and Wandering Emotions are teaming up to create a unique walk that combines the strengths of both organisations, combining meaningful intergenerational connection, mindfulness, creativity, and nature-based exploration in a welcoming outdoor experience.
During our walk, we'll pause for creative exercises and reflection. Inspired by Wild Purpose's Symbiosis approach, we'll encourage reciprocal sharing and meaningful conversation. Through Wandering Emotions' activities, we'll further explore mindfulness, sensory awareness, and nature through a mix of art and discovery. This nature walk is a space to reconnect with nature, share stories, and deepen connections with a like-minded community.
Details:
Starting point: Smart Sheds, Brighton, on the road to Devil's Dyke
Arrival time: 11:00 AM
Walk starts: 11:15 AM
Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
Who is this walk for? This walk is for adults aged 18+ only. (We also run separate family walks if you'd like to attend with children)!
Limited Spaces: We only offer 20 spaces per walk so that we can engage with all participants and avoid overwhelming anyone with a large group.
Accessibility Information: This event takes place in woodland and includes an uphill path with uneven ground, exposed tree roots, and natural terrain. The route may be difficult for wheelchair users and some mobility aids.
Ticket Information: We offer three ticket tiers to make our walks as accessible as possible while continuing to grow our community organisation. Your contribution helps cover the cost of materials for our activities, as well as behind-the-scenes essentials such as insurance and volunteer training. Thank you for your support!
Follow us on social media and join our mailing list to keep up to date with the latest walk news and updates. We also do walks in Preston Park, Hove Park, Three Cornered Copse and St Ann's Well Gardens and Pavilion Gardens!
