Join Queer Heritage South and Photoworks for a one-off immersive, queer club night , as we launch Photoworks Festival.

Discover the queer clubbing scenes of the past, expect a kaleidoscope of images; queer ravers, daring outfits, cubical carnage, secret snogs and memories of steamy nights.

Well be joined by four legendary club photographers, and a line-up of DJs to create a clubnight transporting us through decades of sound and vision, from queer clubbing in Brighton & Hove across the last forty years.

Dance the night away with Xan (Gal Pals) and Dykes on Decks. Visuals from LadyPat and Boogaloo Stu, Alonglines Photography, and Real Brighton.

Our last QHS party marked the launch of the Gender Stories exhibition at Brighton & Hove Museum in February 2026. One sold-out night, over 500 queers, and a plethora of special guests ensured a night for the history books!
