Richard Durrant: Songs of the Solstice

About

Guitarist Richard Durrant and his band bring Songs of the Solstice, their much-loved midwinter musical celebration, to Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea, with four performances over the first weekend of December.

As heard on BBC 6 Music, the show has become a Christmas tradition for audiences across the UK. The band's rich vocal sound and instrumental skill transport audiences to the heart of the Winter Solstice, with original material from each member of this remarkable collective. Durrant uniquely blends Early Music, British Folk, Classical, Pagan and Christian seasonal songs.

Featuring Richard Durrant, Amy Kakoura, Tom Arnold, Daisy Durrant and Django Durrant.
