💷 £15 for one day or save with both days for £25 per child.

Times: 10am – 3.30pm (bring a pack lunch)

Spaces are limited, so early booking is encouraged.

DAY ONE: Slapstick and Physical Comedy Workshop

Join us for a fun-filled day for ages 8-12 exploring physical comedy, character, and the art of making people laugh using nothing but movement! Inspired by Charlie Chaplin and the silent film greats, young performers will learn classic comic routines and work together to create their own.

Whether your child wants to dive into theatre technique or simply build confidence and make new friends, this workshop has something for everyone.

In this hands-on, high-energy session, participants will:

Learn classic slapstick routines whilst being inspired by and learning about the silent film era
Work collaboratively with other young people to build their own comedy routines using the day's techniques
Learn how to safely and confidently make their friends laugh with trips, bumps, and falls
Explore performance techniques to create and portray characters
Build confidence, make new friends, and have fun!
All materials are provided. Just bring your energy and imagination!
DAY TWO: Make your own Show Workshop

Are you aged 8-12 and got a story you want to perform? A script you've written and want to see put on its feet? Or the seed of an idea you want to grow? Or no idea at all, but you want to meet new friends and make something brand new? Join us for a day of making a show! We'll explore how to create as a team – using images, writing, and story structure to find surprising new ways to take an idea from concept to performance.

We'll create material from ideas young people bring with them, as well as ideas we discover in the room together.

In this hands-on, collaborative workshop, participants will:

Learn how to generate material and structure a story
Explore improvisation and try out different ideas through acting
Develop a concept from a seed of an idea into a performable scene
Work as a team, drawing on different disciplines – acting, writing, design, and stage management
Build confidence, make new friends, and have fun!

This workshop is suitable for all young people — whether you want to dive deep into theatre technique, build confidence, or make new friends. It's especially great for those interested in acting, writing, design, or stage management, and explores how different disciplines can collaborate to create something new.
