Santa's Grotto at Shelter Hall in Brighton

We're very lucky to have Santa returning to Shelter Hall this year on on Sunday 7th, 14th & 21st December. During your visit your child will meet the man himself (plus his helpful elves!), get to tell him their wishes, & receive a special gift.

What to expect

Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a confirmation with your session time. Please arrive 5 minutes before your slot to help us keep everything running smoothly and to make the most of your visit.

When you arrive at Shelter Hall, head up to our mezzanine level (accessible by both stairs and lift), where Santa’s friendly elves will be waiting to greet you. While you wait for your turn in the grotto, little ones can get creative in the Christmas Craft Room and post their wishes at our North Pole letter-writing station.

Each booking includes a 15-minute private visit with Santa. Up to four children can share a session, making it perfect for siblings or friends. During this time, every child will receive a special gift from Santa, and you’ll also have the chance to capture the moment with your own photos.

Make a day of it
You’re welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes before your session or stick around afterwards to enjoy our Christmas Craft Room. Little elves can get creative, make festive keepsakes, and post their wishes at our North Pole letter-writing station.

All of our kitchens and bars will be open throughout the day, serving up delicious dishes and festive winter specials. Why not stay for lunch, dinner, or a seasonal tipple to make your grotto visit even more magical?
