Skylines

About

Skylines is an exciting band playing the music of the legendary progressive rock band Camel.

Our 2026 shows feature a full rendition of Camel's classic The Snow Goose, the band's most famous album, inspired by Paul Gallico's book of the same name, a moving story of friendship and heroism set against the backdrop of the Dunkirk evacuations.

The Snow Goose is Camel's best known and loved album, an eclectic mixture of rock, jazz rock and classical, shifting through many different moods; from soaring guitar solos and thundering drum feels to atmospheric keyboards and reflective pastoral passages, it has rightly earned its place at the very top of progressive rock's pantheon of all-time greats.

Skylines are four seasoned musicians, all well-schooled in the progressive rock genre. Members have worked with a variety of top acts including Jethro Tull and top Italian band Analogy. Our excellent guitarist John Harris, and nimble bass player, Tony Lewis are both mainstays of critically acclaimed band Retreat From Moscow, whose latest album was received with top accolades from Prog magazine and other Prog Rock cognoscenti.

Skylines set also features top tracks from Camel's classic albums such as Moon Madness, Breathless, Rain Dances and more.
