About

Nestled within Brighton & Hove Albion’s American Express Stadium, The Terrace is a state-of-the-art fan zone and leisure venue that has redefined matchday and off-peak entertainment on the South Coast. Officially launching in April 2025, it boasts a covered indoor capacity of 1,000, expanding to welcome up to 3,000 fans when outdoor space is included—making it the Premier League’s largest fan zone.

On matchdays, it transforms into the Heineken Fan Zone at The Terrace, offering early-open pre-game and late-close post-game atmospheres. Immersive digital screens, wraparound LED media, live DJs, bands, and special guests create an electric ambience. Fans enjoy four street‑food kitchens—burgers, chicken, Asian‑fusion, and toasted treats—and a full Heineken drinks menu alongside local ales like Harvey’s.

But The Terrace isn’t just matchday magic. Throughout the year it doubles as a vibrant leisure spot with live sports screenings (from Six Nations to Women’s Euros to major boxing bouts), tribute acts (e.g., Totally Blondie), family days, silent discos, children’s musical theatre workshops, business breakfasts, and Eurovision parties—most held in the 1,000-guest indoor space, and some expanding outside.

Private Hire & Events

On non-matchdays, The Terrace is available for exclusive hire, ideal for product launches, summer parties, corporate gatherings, charity balls, music gigs, and more. With capacity for 1,000 guests indoors—and up to 3,000 including outdoor space—it stands as one of Brighton’s largest event venues. The associated Melts Café operates daily (9am–2pm), offering barista coffee, shakes, and toasted snacks.

In short, The Terrace is a dynamic, year-round community hub—a multi-functional space combining cutting-edge media, quality food and drink, live entertainment, and versatile private-hire options. It truly brings people together in a fresh, inclusive social setting—whether lifting a pint before a match or hosting an unforgettable summer event.
