sounds mint was conceived at the end of 2021 & was officially born in 2022, but was something that felt like years in the making. Having been in previous bands in their late teens, Kelvin (Frontman) & Rudy (Drums) did the only thing they knew how, which was to keep creating music and start a new band. Turns out everything happened for a greater good. 
 They have finally found their voice coupled with a desperation to share a message with the world; this is what keeps sounds mint pressing forwards and upwards. Having grown up on bands such as Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana & Joy Division, an existential angst and honest reflection of life & London living are central themes to the music. Nothing is sugar-coated, nothing is held back with hard hitting lyrics and catchy honest hooks. 
 This is both to honour themselves, but also to honour all the true musicians who have come before them and inspired them to do something meaningful & relatable. Linking up with Robbie (Lead Guitar) & Layla (Bass) in 2022, the band have taken big strides musically. 
 Having met some amazing musicians along the way, the band have turned their DIY bedroom post punk outcries into a full on 4 piece monster that has been blowing people away all around Europe with their intense live shows. They have recently supported Blur across some UK & European Tour dates, with new singles planned for 2023 with an EP & Tour to follow in 2024.
