We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by Brussels post-punk outfit **Stonks,** on **November 20th at The RossiBar**. As Part of the **GDS x Rossi Bar Artist Investment Scheme.**

The artist investment scheme (Or **AIS**), is a new platform for the most exciting and interesting upcoming artists across the UK and beyond. We will be bringing you tastemaker shows, carefully curated to showcase emerging artists who we think are gonna be big! We can't wait to share em with ya.

**stonks - ais vol 2**

**Stonks** is an indie rock and post-punk band formed in Brussels, Belgium in 2021. The four-piece group blends alternative elements of noise rock, jazz, and crank-wave, drawing inspiration from modern UK post-punk acts like Squid and Viagra Boys.

At an average age of 22, the "leaderless" band has matured and gained considerable distance from their hybrid identity as neo-urbanites "between forest and pavement." The carefree spirit of Class Craic is now behind them; Stonks fully embraces its loss of lightness and darkens the atmosphere. Confronted, albeit reluctantly, with the end of innocence, the quartet maintains the tension and gains depth, always well supported by the soaring brass of indispensable trumpeter Mathis Jeanne, who, depending on the mood, either plays a distorted death knell or evokes cinematic melancholy.
