About

We are delighted to have secured the services of two of the most influential and legendary figures to have ever graced the Northern Soul scene.

The contributions of IAN LEVINE and COLIN CURTIS in unearthing and introducing so many wonderful tunes ensure that their status is forever guaranteed as two of the founding fathers of the greatest underground dance scene this country has ever known.

Ian discovered the sounds that fired up The Twisted Wheel, The Torch and Wigan Casino in the heyday - and at Blackpool Mecca the two came together with such barnstorming records as 'Seven Day Lover', 'Love Factory', 'Cashing In' etc., before changing the whole direction of the movement with groundbreaking smashes like The Carstairs 'It Really Hurts Me Girl'.

They didn't stop there as Curtis went on to influence every dance scene that has emerged since including jazz-funk. soulful house, electro etc.

As a writer and producer, Levine has sold over 40 million records and becaome one of the great archivists of the scene via films, documentaries and his Motor City project.

That only touches the surface of the contributions these legends have made. We owe them all so much for laying down a great part of the soundtrack of our lives. Come along and pay homage the these two greats.
