Peter & Debbie are enjoying a cruise - a celebration of twenty years of marriage, and a break from their annoying teenagers. They befriend fellow passenger, Elsa Jean Krakowski, a lusty, eccentric, American with a fondness for Donald Trump. Shes less than woke but kind of wonderful. Theres something slightly unsettling in her overeager friendliness. They agree to stay in touch - because no one ever does, do they?
Back home, in the comfort of suburbia, Elsa turns up on Peter and Debbies doorstep, and when they look up their houseguest online, unearthing some hair-raising evidence, their good nature is challenged as never before. What kind of danger have they allowed to take up residence in their guest room? How do you protect all that you love from mortal peril without seeming, well, a bit impolite!
