West Pier Presents: 'Rising' - Grassroots Electronic Themed Artist Showcase

About

West Pier Presents.. 'Rising' is a curated grassroots showcase in a proper club environment at WaterBear The Venue on Brighton seafront.

Oh My Goodness!
We have an amazing line up!
Seriously!

This event is an electronic themed night! However, this is not a club night, it is live music acts, with an awesome codesouth DJ keeping the energy up between sets and closing the night properly.

This night was previously called Rising Stars and our last event at ALPHABET featured... Joe Little / Matilda Grace / Lewis Monticelli. What a night! Energy and Passion! See out IG page.... https://www.instagram.com/westpierrecordings

Rising is for new and emerging artists. We give them a supportive platform to perform in front of a live audience, build confidence, and develop their sound and direction. Artists join at different stages, but Rising is always an equal space and a safe environment to perform and entertain.

This time around, you are getting three 30 minute live sets from emerging and alumni WaterBear linked artists, plus DJ Bloodl3tter playing house and liquid drum and bass in between acts, then finishing the night with a full hour long closing set. All for the cost of a pint.

And it is all for a great cause. Every penny of profit from this event is being donated to Mind in Brighton and Hove helping fund vital mental health services in our City and across Sussex.

It is something close to our hearts. It affects most of us, directly or through someone we care about, and this is our way of putting something back into the community while putting on a proper night out.

The Funktion-One sound system does the rest, crisp detail, real punch, and the kind of clarity that makes every track and every vocal land exactly how it should.

Featuring:

Every Day Saints are WaterBear alumni creating electronic pop they describe as occult pop, dark, melodic, and immersive. 2026 is set to be a strong year for their growth as they step fully into their next phase. Their new electronic project launches with a brand new single this March, and this event is part of that journey. Come down, show your support, and be part of their single launch as they introduce this new chapter live.

Static Ella is a WaterBear alumni, songwriter and producer based in Brighton and from New Zealand. She adopts an entirely DIY approach to her music, writing and producing everything in her attic studio. Inspired by the likes of Billie Eilish, Imogen Heap and the gritty edge of trip-hop pioneers like Massive Attack, she infuses pop sensibilities with a shadowy atmospheric edge, creating songs that explore themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the darker corners of the human experience.

Kammin is opening the night, a 20-year-old multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer based in Brighton, currently studying music at university. He started on drums at the age of four and picked up guitar at seven years old. Rooted in jazz, blues, and rock, his sound has evolved into a distinctive blend of electronic and experimental elements, bridging the organic and the digital. With production now central to his identity, he brings a sharp ear for texture and detail and a clear, forward-looking artistic vision.

Come for the bands, stay for the awesome DJ. BLOODL3TTER is a unique artist, producer and DJ who blends emotional and dark themes with intricate production and sound design with a mix of organic and electronic elements. She is an open format DJ and has a weekly show called "Future Frequencies" on CodeSouth where she showcases a range of electronic music, usually focused on interesting and unique sound design elements and production techniques.

A fun evening to be had, brought to you by West Pier Presents, a division of West Pier Recordings, a Brighton label that cares and supports music artists.
