Woodfire Camping - dinner with a view

About

Woodfire at Westerlands: a gastro campsite.

A large, open field with spectacular views of the South Downs rolling into the distance, this stunning family oriented camping spot is set on a lovely regenerative farm in West Sussex. A footpath leads directly from the field to a network of walks and cycle routes through glorious countryside. Beaches, stately homes, medieval market towns, gardens, open-air museums and fun-parks are all just a short drive away.

If you're a seasoned camper and have all the gear, great. If you don't own a tent or just want a hassle free stay then a number of pre-pitched canvas tents sleeping up to 6 are available to hire.

Woodfire’s hosts cook up delicious locally-sourced and seasonal fare on the grill (evening meals and breakfasts) for campers - everyone eats together at trestle tables overlooking wonderful views. The site has a small bar with a selection of wines, local beers and a signature cocktail or two.

Powerful hot 'spa-like showers' (The Guardian), fantastic sunsets and crystal-clear drinking water, straight from a borehole are also worth shouting about!

Woodfire is featured regularly in The Guardian, The Telegraph, Time Out, The Times, BBC Good Food and BBQ Magazine for its unique positioning as a gastro-campsite.
