Café Domenica is staffed by young people with learning disabilities to help them into employment. A café with a conscience serving delicious coffee, food and baked treats.
You can find Café Domenica across Brighton & Hove; with locations at 5-7 Preston Road, Jubilee Library, Plus X Innovation Hub (Lewes Road) and Hove Library.
Café Domenica is part of Team Domenica, our mission is to find meaningful employment for young people with learning disabilities. Our training cafés (Café Domenica) are open to the public and are staffed by our candidates. They gain practical employability skills in a real work environment, whilst building confidence and social skills.
Café Domenica is also a community hub, it brings people together, educating them on the real value gained by interacting with people with learning disabilities and strengthening their relationships within the community.
