Set in a quiet street close to the seafront and crammed with an eclectic mix of pictures, bric a brac and other fascinating curios, it’s truly unique – the kind of place you feel instantly at home in and one of the best-kept secrets in the area. With it’s longstanding history, The Lion & Lobster is a place like no other. Sports games are frequently shown in our downstairs pub, or bask on the terrace in the sunshine when the Summer comes.
With seasonal menus and a range of drinks on offer, The Lion & Lobster provides an ample venue for whatever your occasion. Our upstairs restaurant can seat up to 12 at one time, with a Private Dining Room at the back which can seat up to 14. The Private Dining Room has a door that links directly onto the cosy corners of the terrace, making it perfect for a meeting or private dining experience. Once a year they hold an annual street party, and the Tuesday Quiz gets everyone’s thinking caps on.
