Being by the seaside Brighton & Hove is the perfect place to enjoy seafood from the classic fish 'n' chips to champagne & oysters.

Enjoying the fresh sea air is one of the highlights of a trip to Brighton and it can also stir up an appetite. Being by the sea means we have access to some of the best seafood in the country and while we do still love the classic fish 'n' chips there is more to seafood in Brighton then just that. 

There are historic fine dining restaurants that have served seafood to the stars - apparently Marlene Dietrich insisted on having lobster from English's delivered to her dressing room if she was performing at the Theatre Royal Brighton! We also have contemporary restaurants serving creative & colourful dishes, several with a seaview too. 

If you're here for a romantic break then why not treat yourselves to a delicious meal of Champgane & Oysters - although as Brighton is part of Sussex then you should really be drinking a glass or two of locally produced Sussex Sparkling Wine. Although if you do decide to go for the classic cod & chips then it's useful to know we have restaurants offering vegetarian and vegan alternatives so no one needs to miss out on a trip down memory lane.
