The Southern Belle is a stunning historic venue with a lively bar, quirky interior, luxury boutique rooms and a cocktail bar reminiscent of a bygone era. Nestled in Brunswick Old Town, Hove and located a stone throw from the Beach and Hove Lawns – we’re a little hidden gem!

Packed full of history with a quirky edge  -  the original back bar serve's up a fantastic selection of international & local craft beers, Sussex ales, cocktails, fine wines and whiskies plus more gins than you can shake a stick at! In winter you'll find the log fire roaring and in summer the doors are opened wide. A great social space to drink & dine. With an easy atmosphere and a choice of comfortable snug seating, dining/drinking tables for groups of 2-4 and large high window seats (seats 6) - which are perfect to watch the world go by and take a glimpse of the sea.

Our award-winning kitchen is open 7 days a week serving brunch, lunch and dinner. We've got small plates, big plates, burgers plus a whole load of tasty tipples and friendly atmosphere! Sundays are reserved for our fabulous roast dinners.

Our opulent cocktail lounge/bar is located towards the back of the building and is such a beautiful space with a choice of low intimate cocktail chairs, high bar seating and dining tables. With low lighting and a fabulous ambience - it's a great space for intimate drinks, small gatherings or your own speakeasy vibe for celebrations. The bar in the cocktail lounge is open weekends - outside of these times service is provided by the front bar.
