A 3-day itinerary for budget-concious travellers.
A trip to Brighton needn’t break the bank, there are places to stay to suit all budgets although, if possible, we recommend visiting mid-week to grab the best deals. Smaller budgets can still have big fun whether it’s a treasure hunt, turning your world upside-down, catching a star of tomorrow or a picnic in the park you don’t need to splash the cash to experience Brighton.

Start inland in North Laine, where you can keep costs low while still seeing some of Brighton’s most characterful streets and venues. The day moves from self-guided exploring to grassroots music and a budget-friendly overnight stay near the station.

Snooper’s Paradise is an indoor market where you never know what you will find next. It could be a toy from your childhood, a classic ceramic, an iconic record or something so bizarre and kitsch that now you’ve seen it you have to have it! Beware you may lose hours in this treasure trove, but you’ll love it when you come out with a bargain.
Good to know: Good for rainy weather, and could easily turn into a longer stop as you start exploring the weird & wonderful things for sale.
