Multi-award-winning Brunswick Fine Wines & Spirits is a wine merchant in New Road, on Brighton’s North Laine. They buy and sell fine wines and spirits, serving customers who are drinkers, collectors, investors, or those curious to find out more. In September 2023 they were voted Best Regional Wine Shop in South-East England in Decanter Magazine’s Retailer Awards.

They opened the doors to their beautiful shop at 15 New Road in early 2022. They preserved the Georgian façade of 15 New Road but adapted the interior to showcase and store fine wine and spirits in grand style. In a curious twist of fate, they discovered that in 1806 the original occupier of the building at No. 15 was a wine and spirits merchant, so they’re delighted to have restored it to the trade it once hosted two centuries ago. Visiting Brunswick is very different to a typical wine merchant. The shop has become a must-see destination for locals, UK, and international tourists alike.

The bespoke oak cabinets, shelving, grand Champagne wine wall, tasting room and fine wine cellar provide a unique retail setting for customers. They sell fine wines and spirits, including mature vintages of sought-after wines from great regions, which are drinking well now. They also source hard-to-find retail and en primeur wines direct from growers. They host regular ‘meet the winemaker’ sessions and their experts host wine-tasting events to demystify fine wine for their customers.

You can click and collect (and park outside!), or their in-house logistics team ships locally, nationally and internationally, using strong, sustainable packaging that’s specifically made for shipping wines and spirits. Sustainability is important to Brunswick and its customers, so they partner with local zero-emissions delivery company Zedify to offer an ethical, next-day delivery service to local customers in and around Brighton.
