A Christmas Carol by Candlelight

About

Dionysus Theatre presents A Christmas Carol by Candlelight, an intimate retelling of Charles Dickens' much-loved ghost story. A warning from Jacob Marley sends Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and possible future, guided by three spirits who are faces from his own life.

Adapted by and starring Robert Tremayne, directed by Vicky Newman and featuring choreography by Lauren Whedbee, the production combines ensemble storytelling, Victorian carols and the glow of candlelight.

Recommended for ages 8+. Running time approximately two hours including an interval. Contains ghostly themes, sound effects and theatrical haze.
