About
The Bee's Mouth Folk Choir return to the beautiful St Augustine's Arts and Events Centre for an evening of seasonal song. Folk songs are by, about and for people and if they've survived for hundreds of years you can be pretty sure that they're solid gold bangers. Expect traditional winter tunes via the likes of the Coppers and Watersons, newer numbers from Costello and Krauss and a sprinkling of pub carols, all sung from the heart.
Doors 7.30pm. Licensed bar.
About the Bee's Mouth Folk Choir: we first assembled in 2022 to share the joy and connection of singing together, just as humans have always done to cope with hard times and celebrate the good. We sing all sorts of folk from medieval ballads to modern protest songs with some original compositions thrown in. All are welcome to sing along at the Bee's Mouth, Western Road, Hove every Monday 7-9pm. Contact: btnfolkchoir@gmail.com
