About

We invite you to immerse yourself in the world of poetry again and spend an afternoon in the beautiful downland village of Alfriston.
The event offers an array of activities which includes:

- The chance to meet local poets
- A Poetry Competition where you can submit your own poem in advance for judging (this is optional)
- Discussion group to review, discuss & vote for the shortlisted poems
- Teach-in session on "how to get your poetry published"
- Poetry Podcast session
- Music & books
- Refreshments included
- Followed by Open Mic evening at Six Bells Pub next door with optional supper deal (17.50 per head)
