Minds Eye Promotions Eastbourne presents French duo Aptere, who are coming to The Grove Theatres BOX Bar on their current UK tour for an evening of classical, Balkan, Jazz, & Folk.

Aptère is a duo unifying the cellist Lina Belaïd and accordionist Antoine Girard around a common passion for live and popular music, Jazz, Balkan or Musette, among others. The sounds of bowed strings and blown reeds blend and mingle on their musical playground. Sensitive compositions, adventurous improvisations, reveal rich texture ranges, melodic lyricism, haunting rhythms, oriental ornaments and bold harmonies.
Jed Cutler's conjuring spirits from the improvisational forces of the universe, Jed Cutler aims to open up the portal to realms of musical bliss. Drawing from a well of influences such as Lead Belly to the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
