About
This full‑day wood carving workshop introduces participants to the craft of wildlife carving under the guidance of the Bentley Wildlife Carvers. Attendees learn the fundamentals of carving as they shape a goldfinch from a pre‑prepared wooden block, then paint their finished bird to take home as a unique keepsake or handmade gift. All tools, materials and protective equipment are provided, and the small group size ensures plenty of one‑to‑one support throughout the day.
Designed for adults aged 18+, the goldfinch carving workshop takes place on 22 March, running from 10am to 4pm, and costs £48 per person, including centre admission. Food and drink are not included, but participants may bring a picnic or purchase refreshments on site. Booking is available online only.
