About
In this workshop, Lauren will introduce you to the art of botanical painting, guiding you through the creation of a stunning plant study inspired by the gardens of Charleston.
Using both graphite and watercolours, you will capture the delicate beauty of nature in a personal memento, learning techniques to bring each leaf and petal to life. Whether you're new to botanical art or looking to refine your skills, Lauren's expert guidance will ensure you feel confident as you create your own unique study page.
Expect to leave not only with a beautiful, hot-pressed watercolour sketchbook but also with the skills and inspiration to continue filling its pages at home. The workshop includes an exclusive tour of the modernist home and studio at Charleston, providing a glimpse into its rich artistic history, along with all the materials you'll need to bring your creations to life.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a delicious lunch made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
