Brighton Walking Food Tour

About

Taste your way through hidden streets, independent eateries and Brighton’s vibrant culinary culture on a guided walking food tour through the city.

This experience is part of City Uncovered: Brighton, taking place from 1st–14th June 2026 — a limited-time series of unique, under-the-radar experiences designed to help you see the city differently.

Led by a local guide, this immersive food tour blends Brighton’s rich history with the flavours, makers and independent businesses that define the city’s creative spirit. Beginning near the historic St Bartholomew’s Church, you’ll weave through Brighton’s lively streets, uncovering hidden food spots and tasting your way through five carefully selected stops.

Each tasting has been chosen to showcase a different side of Brighton’s eclectic food scene — from savoury street food and artisanal creations to sweet treats and locally loved specialities. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the landmarks, neighbourhoods and cultural movements that shaped the city, helping you experience Brighton through both flavour and storytelling.

As the tour unfolds, you’ll explore a mix of bustling areas and tucked-away corners that many visitors miss, gaining insight into Brighton’s independent food culture and the passionate people behind it. Expect generous tastings, fascinating local stories and a completely different perspective on one of the UK’s most creative coastal cities.
