About

Painter Carolyn Trant trained at the Slade. She has made Artists' Books for over 20 years. Her work appears in individual and institutional collections across the UK, Europe and the USA. She is the author of two books on women artists 'Art for Life: The story of Peggy Angus' published in 2004 & 'British Women Artists from Suffrage to the Sixties' published in 2019 and now available in paperback, which The Guardian described as 'diligent, detailed and full of surprises'.
