About

Join internationally acclaimed designer Kit Kemp for an illuminating exploration of her distinctive approach to interiors - a world where craftsmanship, colour and character take centre stage. In her new book, 'Design Stories', she invites readers into the imaginative process behind her residential and hotel design projects, revealing how she brings spaces to life through her textile designs, bold storytelling and fearless, instinctive approach to colour, pattern and texture.

In this richly visual conversation, Kit discusses the ideas, inspirations and detailed methods that shape her work: from championing artisans and reviving traditional skills to creating rooms that feel both deeply personal and quietly surprising. She reflects on the relationship between art and interiors, the importance of joy and play in design, and the continuing evolution of her studio's aesthetic.

Stylish, thoughtful and full of creative insight, this event offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the most influential figures in modern British design.

This event is chaired by Busola Evans.
