Dragonfly Willow Weaving adults

About

Join us for a calming and creative workshop where you’ll learn the art of willow weaving and create your very own dragonfly sculpture to take home.

In this relaxed, hands-on session, Zsofi from Mindful Makers, will guide you through the basic techniques of working with natural willow - a beautiful, sustainable material - while we chat, craft, and connect with the season.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners, and all materials and tools will be provided. You’ll leave with a charming handmade dragonfly - perfect for your garden, balcony, or as a unique gift - and hopefully a feeling of calm and creative accomplishment.

Each workshop is carefully curated to create a calming space for creativity, reflection, and joy - no experience needed, just a love for making and a curiosity for the natural world. These workshops are for adult 18+.

Times: 10.15 am - 11.45 pm OR 1 - 2.30 pm

This event is part of the Dragonfly Festival - for a full listing of activities visit the Dragonfly Festival Page.

Mindful Makers is the adult workshop branch of Nature Makers - offering relaxing, nature-inspired art and craft experiences designed to support mindfulness and wellbeing. Led by Zsofi, a passionate creative and trained Nature Makers teacher, these sessions invite adults to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore seasonal crafts using sustainable and natural materials.
