Family Workshop: Moulding Saltdough

About

Join artist Ella Hempsted for a fun family workshop inspired by Daily Baroque, an exhibition by sculptor Laura White. Together, families will learn how to make and colour their own salt dough. Then we will stretch, push, roll, and play with the dough to experiment with the different shapes and forms that can be created, just as Laura does in her work. At the end of the workshop, families will be able to take their unique creations home to be baked in the oven.

Our family workshops are for children aged 5yrs+ to enjoy being creative together with their parents / carers. Artist-led and inspired by the themes of our exhibition programme they are a great opportunity to have fun and explore different materials. All workshops are free and drop-in so there’s no need to book.
