Hagstone Viewer Workshop with David Parker
Tuesday 05 August // 10.00 - 12.30 & 13.30 - 16.00 // For all ages // Free
We See, The Sea is a whole two weeks dedicated to free children's, families & young people's creative workshops from monoprinting and cyanotypes to sea shanty experiences. We See, The Sea is in partnership with Sussex Bay & The Arts Society Steyning.
David Parker from Figment Arts will be leading a hagstone viewer workshop. Make an individual hagstone viewer and one giant viewer which will be in the gallery looking out.
Figment Arts works with people to make art about the places we live. They run creative workshops that bring people together, have fun and make something they're proud of.
This event has a capacity of 8 people per slot.
No experience needed - just enthusiasm and imagination. All materials will be supplied.
Tickets are free & limited, so please book your space.
Our ground floor gallery space has step free access. The session may become noisy at times due to the nature of the workshops. For those with noise sensitivity, you are welcome to bring along your own ear protectors or ear plugs. If you have any specific access requirements please get in touch!
For all family creative sessions an appropriate adult is required to stay on site with their child throughout the duration of the session.
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the session to allow our host time to set up and create a welcoming space. If you'd like to see the space beforehand, we can provide photos or arrange a visit. We want you and your family to feel comfortable and excited about the experience!
If you have selected a free ticket and are no longer able to attend please return your ticket so it is able to go to people on our waiting list.
