About

Imogen Ryall has been at the forefront of the UK jazz scene wowing audiences with her interpretations of jazz standards old and new, as well as a many special projects in partnership with leading jazz instrumentalists.

Trumpeter Chris Coull has long wanted to put together a group to perform this musical work that seamlessly crosses the boundaries between classical and jazz by the maestro himself, George Gershwin.

Expect all your favourite songs from the famous musical, plus some unhackneyed musical pieces, interspersed with a synopsis of the story. The rhythm section is John Turville (piano), Simon Thorpe (bass) and Matt Fishwick (drums).
