Featuring a stellar lineup of UK talent, Andy's Octet showcases his intricately crafted arrangements and original compositions. Deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, the repertoire pays tribute to iconic figures such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Gil Evans, Sonny Rollins, Lee Konitz, and Horace Silver. The set also celebrates a rich variety of global rhythmsfrom the samba and bossa nova of South America to the township grooves of Africa and the vibrant calypsos of the Caribbean. The Octet includes: Andy with Damian Cook and Mike Hope (saxes) Chris Coull (trumpet), Nick Mills (trombone), James Treweek (piano), Stuart Barker (bass), and Joe Edwards (drums).
