About
Nighthawks features acclaimed musicians Matt Wates (alto sax), Roy Hilton (piano), and Joe Edwards (drums). Matt is a multi-award-winning saxophonist, Roy has performed with legends like Sonny Stitt and Buddy Greco, and Joe is a sought-after drummer on the south coast jazz scene. George Trebar's music reimagines classic film scores from Michel Legrand, Burt Bacharach, and Elmer Bernstein, with original arrangements by George. Their debut album Pages and Frames, exploring the links between cinema, literature, and jazz, is out on Rubicon in November 2025.
