Jazz at St Andrews Presents; Mark Crooks

About

Saxophonist Mark Crooks leads this dynamic organ quartet, performing music by jazz legends like Jimmy Smith, Stanley Turrentine, Shirley Scott, and Larry Goldings. Expect grooves, Latin rhythms and swinging blues all delivered with flair and fun. Mark has performed with Tony Bennett, Sir Simon Rattle, Lady Gaga, and Dame Cleo Laine, gracing venues from the BBC Proms and Ronnie Scott's in London to Lincoln Center in New York. This evening, the group pays tribute to recordings by Stan Getz and Chet Baker. Featuring: Chris Coull (trumpet), Pete Whittaker (organ), Colin Oxley (guitar), and Matt Home (drums).
