London-based sax, bass and drums trio Lello make noisy, cinematic post-punk inspired by "local cowboys, big hair and shrinking chip shop portions".

ChopChop

Since their inception in 2016 ChopChop have garnered a reputation as a compelling live band, with Galician writer Xels de Toro mixing performance art with his yelped vocals, and the band pulling in wildly eclectic influences to form their own unique sound.
They have released two albums, which have been played on BBC 6s Freak Zone and the Tom Robinson show. Live appearances include festivals such as Supernormal, Acid Horse and Unorthodox Paradox, and they recently played a run of shows in Galicia.

ChopChops music snakes round its orator like a slippery thing, cymbals replaced by the clatter of hubcaps on toms, cutlery-jammed guitars theres an itchy jazzy vibe to the melodics, fuelled by a fertile imagination full of bruised shapes and punkish angles. Michael Rodham-Heaps, FREQ magazine
