About

From planting pretty flowers for our windowsill to pulling up pesky weeds, find out more about the tools that make gardening possible in our FREE June Little Seedlings workshop

GARDEN TOOLS

With this workshop, children will learn all about garden tools – from the history of the very first tools, to the kinds of things they help us with when it comes to growing our own plants and looking after our gardens and green spaces.

Topics and activities will include:

* What garden tools do you know?
* The history of garden tools
* Silly sounding garden tools – real or fake?
* Summer jobs in the garden + what tools to use
* Workshop activity: Decorate your own plant pot + plant a flower

Please note:

* Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
* Where stores are running multiple sessions it is the same workshop delivered at each one
* Parents or guardians wishing to order hot drinks for the session in advance can do so during the booking process
* Dates and times for our Little Seedlings Clubs vary by store and not all stores are able to participate
* Advance booking is required with spaces booked quickly – please book early to avoid disappointment
* Where a session is shown as 'Sold Out' – we're sorry, there are no more tickets available for that time
