Lucy Pickering’s Court & Spark have been delighting audiences across the South east for the last 7 years with their jazz-tinged interpretations of classic 1970’s LA artists such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King.
Featuring the gorgeous soaring vocals and keyboards of Lucy Pickering, and a band comprising some of the UK’s finest session musicians, namely Andy Williams on guitar, Beccy Rork on sax, Terry Pack on bass and Milo Fell on drums.
Their debut album The Mermaid Cafe is dropping on New Leaf Records, and to celebrate this long-awaited release, we are hosting an exclusive album launch night at Ironworks Studio Brighton.
You’ll hear the band recreate all the tracks on the album, as well as performing their other favourite songs by Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Tom Waits, James Taylor and more!
