It's official - we have become a cult comedy show. Up to 15 comedians, pro and amateurs, compete to win the coveted MUG. Our esteemed judge is the very erratic bloke from the pub - 'Alan'.
Emcee'd by Brighton’s undisputed camp of comedy, Mikee, MUGDAY is home to the absolute best that stand up comedy has to offer, with a superb state of the art, purpose-built Mug for a prize.
Acts that have appeared are sometimes chaotic, sometimes mind boggling, sometimes excellent, but always fun. We run the night on a break even basis, for the love of comedy, and our ticket sales go to paying professional comedians and extra marketing to enhance the night even further.
