Worthing premiers Mehfil-e-AudioActive with south Asian classical music. Mithila Sarma will play both classical raags on the veena accompanied by Abhiram Sahathevan on mridangam. The Mehfil Space brings a focus on Carnatic music for this gig. Experience the authentic and intimate atmosphere of an evening of music from the southern part of south Asia. Mithila on the ancient string instrument, the veena, with Abhiram providing skilful percussion on the mrindangam (carnatic drum).

The concept of "Mehfil" is defined as "a gathering where music or poetry is performed for a small audience in an intimate setting".
