The Mehfil Space is committed to offering quality music from south Asia and other parts of the world. In its second year, The Mehfil Space is delighted to bring Ustad Noor Baksh back to Brighton & Hove, direct from Pakistan, to share with you the delights of music from Balochistan - the south west of Pakistan.
Kamelo - singer Martin Paredes and guitarist Fergus Paton - will open the evening with a repertoire of authentic flamenco.
The concept of "Mehfil" is defined as "a gathering where music or poetry is performed for a small audience in an intimate setting." This is a fantastic opportunity to see Ustad perform in the intimate space of the music hub at The Brunswick
There will also be other surprise musical visitors from Pakistan.
Every concert becomes a collaborative dialogue, with all musicians collectively shaping the musical journey.
This is an event by The Mehfil Space, set up by Brighton-based Creative Producer, Atiya Gourlay.
