Another uplifting jazz morning with brilliant jazz musicians.
Tristan Fry was the drummer with the progressive rock band Sky, recording four albums with the group. Sky included guitarist John Williams and bass player, Herbie Flowers.
Tristan has worked with so many of British music's greats including The Beatles, Tom Jones, Elton John, Olivia Newton-John, Nick Drake, David Essex, Kevin Peek, and so many more. Now he can be heard in Shoreham for the first time!
Julie Roberts has a distinctive mellow voice and the ability to interpret jazz standards and songs of many kinds, often making a deep connection with audiences.
Mike Hatchard, as well as being a virtuoso jazz pianist is also a notable composer. With Julie Roberts he has recorded his settings of poems by W B Yeats, James Joyce and others. The album tracks, together with jazz and blues numbers will make this another feelgood jazz occasion.
