About
Minds Eye Promotions Eastbourne presents their Halloween special edition of unusual original live music nights, with an evening set to unsettle, unnerve, and disturb.
Four macabre acts, fancy dress encouraged all for £7 advance.
Performing live for your viewing (dis)pleasure, we have:
Son Of Ugly (Performing a special Horror Film Themed set)
UK instrumental 5-piece, based in the South of England, formed by Kyle Macleod in 2016. Born from a love of Mr Bungle, film soundtracks, B-movie sci-fi and classic cartoons, Son Of Ugly created their unique brand of progressive music.
THON
From the creative mind of Owen Carty comes THON, a live dark ambient audio visual experience. THON utilises vhs screens, lighting, and multiple custom audio equipment to showcase a truly immersive sound. Carty has been performing metal and rock on the underground scene for the past two decades. THON is a natural evolution of the musical rejection of ecumenical ideas inherent in the metal genre, encompassing ideas from techno, Horror scores and drone to create a unique encapsulation of the itching, uncomfortable sense of dread and horror that characterises the late stage capitalistic world of brutality we exist in.
VVAIF
VVAIF conjures primal, acoustic doom folk with melancholic vocals, raw guitar, and a stark, theatrical presence- unravelling subconscious emotions through eerie, unearthed tales where myth, memory, and reality blur.
Karnstein
Karnstein are a Canterbury-based extreme metal band who combine various elements of Gothic, Black, Death and Doom Metal to create dark, heavy and varied songs using classic horror motifs as metaphors for the queer experience.
